ANALYSIS: As week 12 of the 2006 PRUMC season dawns, the rankings remain locked entering the playoffs, which are due to begin with first-round action between PPC and Team Ramrod at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, March 29. The #1 Buckhead Bombers have emerged as a consensus favorite due to their extraordinarily cohesive team play, which helped them stave off an upset bid from the #7 X-Blades last Monday night. Coupled with a healthy amount of talent, the Bombers' ability to work as a unit makes them extremely tough to beat on any given night. However, both the #2 Shockers and #4 PRUMC have proven throughout the course of the year that each possesses enough skill to potentially dethrone the Bombers. Dark horse candidates for the PRUMC title include The Extreme, the Silver Bullets, the Wolfpack, and Hustle & Flow...and who could forget about crowd favorites Team America and the X-Blades? Madness is surely in store for PRUMC basketball this April.
